The Real Tea is Presence

The real tea is presence.

More than ever, our minds are fixated on the future. Lusting the next step that zips us towards our dream outcome.

The next step after college. The next job. The next book. The next product or service that can bring our business to the next level.

It is not easy to quiet the mind. To tell the ego to stop fixating on what it can’t control. And so we think, contemplating the different paths that will lead us to the promise land.

One way forward is to be where your feet are. To surrender the outcome and play present. Instead of planning and strategizing, maybe it would be useful to reflect and look around.

“Nothing will ever happen in the future; it will happen in the Now.”

Relax and breathe.

Silence the mind with a sip of tea. Tell the ego that the path is under your feet. And that all this sh*t that we lust is not that deep.
